What are the admission requirements?

Minimum age: Students must be a minimum of 18 years of age to enrol on our courses. 

What Language will the courses be taught in? 
English will be the primary language, however, we will also provide Italian lessons as working and living in Italy it's mean that a basic understanding in necessary.

Is previous culinary experience necessary?
No, we are here to teach you the basics and therefore, we will ensure that all students are trained at the same level. However, in the cases of the Master course an assessment will be made by our professional teachers to assess the applicants skill set.

How much do I have to pay?
To book your place in the course, a non-refundable €1000,00 deposit needs to be paid at the time of booking. The full balance of the course must be paid at least six weeks before the course start date.

How can I pay for the course?

We accept payment made by cash not over € 2999,00 and bank transfer.

I work full time, may I attend evening or weekend classes?

Yes, we do customised courses to suit the times and needs of each person. To do this, make an appointment with a member of our team and explain your situation.

Is there a job placement programme for students?
Yes, we have a 100% employment rate.

I am an international student, do I need a student Visa?
If you are not from the EU, you will require a student Visa to enrol.

Please note you can enrol for any of our courses that are 3 months or less on a visitor Visa. However, each case will be studied on a individual basis.

What is your Cancellations and Refunds Policy?

May I change course starting date, if I'm no longer attend a course?
It is possible to change your booking with 28 working days notice. International Hospitality Academy will change your starting date if there are still places available for the future course you wish to do. If there are no places available, you will be entitled to a full refund of course fees paid, less the €1000,00 deposit which is non-refundable.

Fees will not be refunded for changes made less than 28 working days before the course starting date.

Dietary and allergic requirements are a problem to enrol to the course?
Please let us know as soon as possible if you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies. International Hospitality Academy will be happy to customise your course, however it must be discussed before you enrol.
